Private baby prep sessions

These sessions offer foundational information and practical recommendations to help you prepare to welcome your new baby. Sessions can cover:

Breastfeeding – an overview of milk production, feeding positions, working towards a comfortable latch, pumping basics, and troubleshooting common issues.

Infant care – safe sleep, swaddling, diapering, bathing and grooming, soothing, and interacting with baby.

House prep – a walk-through of your home to talk about baby equipment, setting up feeding and diapering stations, recommended clothing, safe sleep spaces, and more.

Postpartum planning - talking through physical recovery, mental health, identity shifts, relationship changes, and ideas for making the postpartum period manageable and enjoyable.

These sessions can be held in-person in St. Louis or virtually for families everywhere.

Adoption and surrogacy doula Support

For families that are growing through adoption or surrogacy, I can help you feel confident and ready to welcome home your new baby. Prior to your baby’s arrival, I can recommend baby gear and help you prepare your home; provide guidance on feeding, safe sleep, and newborn care; serve as a resource for all your parenting questions; and offer emotional support before and after you bring home your baby.

Return to Work Planning

Returning to work after maternity or paternity leave can be a challenging transition, but with proper support and planning, we can take the dread out of your first day back. I have a passion for helping parents feel confident about their transition back to the workplace. During some dedicated planning sessions, we can work out schedules, logistical arrangements, work wardrobes, pumping plans, and more to help you feel ready to head back to work.
